Father & Daughter Leather Journal
The Story
A quiet morning on the water, shared between a father and daughter.
This tri-fold handmade journal features original artwork of the two fishing together at first light, with the father just behind his daughter as they cast across the lake. The scene is meant to capture something simple but lasting — time together, mutual respect, and the kind of memories that become more valuable with age.
The tri-fold cover is made from Hermann Oak vegetable-tanned leather, chosen for its rich feel, natural character, and the way it develops an even better patina through use. The artwork is permanently applied to the leather, then the journal is assembled and stitched by hand in Geoff’s Workshop.
Inside are three hand-bound signatures of A5 paper, giving plenty of room for thoughts, stories, sketches, fishing notes, or whatever deserves to be remembered.
Because real leather has its own grain, markings and character, no two journals will ever be exactly alike.
